• press the mode button [adjacent to the 2nd button at the top]
• using the arrow pad, press the down button until you reach func and shift it to the right so that the cursor highlights par
• press enter [at the bottom of the calculator]
• press the 2nd button then press mode again to quit.

You should be in parametric now. To switch back, follow the same steps but instead switch par back to func, press enter and then press 2nd mode.
